San Diego Mediators

for effective mediation it is must that both person are ready to cooperate with each other. They have to leave their personal ego for a while so that they can have good solution for your problem in less time

Reena Sommer, Ph.D.

You are right on with your comments. The problem is that many attorneys and judges offload clients to mediation not only in the hope that they will resolve their differences but also to get their cases off their desk. The decision to send clients to mediation is often made without consideration as to whether they are candidates for mediation - i.e., as you note, they must be willing to cooperate with each other, be goal oriented and act in good faith. If these elements are not present in both parties, then mediation is a waste of time, energy and money.

Divorce Mediator

Mediation is one of the most often utilized procedures of negotiating a divorce. Divorce mediation is an effective process in almost every way but the mediation does not work if their is a physical torture in the case and if the parties don’t want to listen to the mediator.
